Workshop 1: Getting "out of the box"
Day one we will learn about The Pyramid of Influence and how you can help things go right in your relationship with an emerging adult. You will learn what it means to be "in a box" and how that box is keeping you from having more love and influence on your adult-child. We will learn how to shift from a heart at war to a heart at peace. You will be encouraged and amazed at this process and the difference it will make in your relationships!

Workshop 2: TOOLS to BUILD
Now that you know how to "get out of the box" and obtain a heart at peace we will focus on building stronger relationships.You may be surprised to find out which relationships you need to build first. I'll give you a hint... it's not with your adult-child. We will explore tools to build those relationships.

Workshop 3: Practice Pause
We want our adult-child to learn from our mistakes and listen to our wisdom so they can live happier lives. As emerging adults, they need to have their own learning experiences just as we did. In this workshop we will practice the skills you need to listen to understand. You will also learn when it is time to teach or correct. This stage of parenting may feel like a balancing act, and it is! It is tricky for you and for your adult-child and we will help you navigate it so that you can actually enjoy this wonderful stage of parenting.

This private residence features a spacious great room with soft chairs and a large projection screen for easy visibility. Workshops will be held indoors with breakout sessions and short breaks outdoors under large canopy trees with a beautiful view of a small private pond.
